Rivers Alliance Welcomes Connecticut Water Trails Expert William H. Anthony to the RA Board of Directors

William H. Anthony has joined the board of Rivers Alliance. Bill is an avid kayaker and boating enthusiast and comes to the board with a focus on the new Water Trails Program.  He serves on the board of Flanders Nature Center & Land Trust and The Friends of Outer Island (Stewart B. McKinney National Wildlife Refuge).  Bill has a degree in English from the College of William & Mary and was stationed in Germany while serving in the U.S. Army.  He was the founder of William Anthony Construction in Woodbury and served as its President until 2007. He has served on the Bethlehem Conservation and Inlands Wetlands Commission as chairman and the Andover, MA Conservation Commission as chairman of the Stewardship Committee.  Bill will bring a new perspective concentrating on recreation and use to Rivers Alliance.  We are all delighted to welcome him aboard.
