New photo contest for our members:
Where Is Our Water?

This is an uncommon view of a well-known river in Connecticut taken by RA staffer Tony Mitchell. Think you know where this is? Write to webmaster@riversalliance.org with your guess. Attach your own favorite photo of water in Connecticut and we'll use your photo next. Wrong guesses will be posted below to help you narrow down your search. Click on the pic for a full size version in a new tab that you can resize using Ctrl + or Ctrl -

Every Day is Water Day on Earth!

First guess: sorry, this is not part of the Eight Mile Wild and Scenic River, but you sent a great pic we would like to use later.

Second guess: you are correct that this is not far from our office, but it is farther from us than the Bantam River

Third guess: sorry, not Tannery Brook in Litchfield, but you're getting closer, just one town away!

Fourth: The pic you sent of the Pomperaug does indeed look a lot like this spot, but sorry, its not.

Please help provide Rivers Alliance with the resources to be at the table and shape events.
